CEO Academy

BoardSpark CEO Academy is an applied training program designed for CEOs and executive directors who feel like they are carrying the board instead of leading alongside it. This experience gives you a structured, education-focused space to step back, learn best practices, and design a realistic board engagement plan that fits your leadership style and organizational reality.
 

In this 2–3 hour training, you will:

• Learn the essential difference between what you should own as CEO and what the board should own in governance, strategy, and resource development.

• Identify the most common board engagement traps—like vague expectations, crowded agendas, and “update-only” meetings—and what to do differently.

• Build a clear 90-day board engagement plan with specific actions, timelines, and talking points you can start using immediately.
   

The Academy blends short teaching segments with guided reflection and practical planning. You walk away with language you can use with your board, simple tools to reset expectations, and a realistic roadmap to move from “I’m doing this alone” to “I have a governing partner.”
 

Typical investment: $750–$1,500 for a 2–3 hour CEO-focused training.
