Instead of doing the research for you, BoardSpark equips you with a clear process and practical skills so you can continue grant research confidently after the session.
BoardSpark can also help you think about how to put your best foot forward so funders are excited and encouraged to fund your idea, offering guidance on strategy, messaging, and proposal readiness as needed.

Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptops to the session.
The Grant Research Lab is for nonprofits that want to learn grant research in a practical, guided way, BoardSpark offers in-person, hands-on sessions focused on building your own prospect list using real tools and real-time support. These sessions are designed to help you leave with actionable leads, not just theory.
During each session, you will practice searching FDO, refine search terms, assess alignment, and prioritize prospects that are a good fit for your organization’s mission and size. You will leave with a starter list of potential funders you identified yourself, plus a repeatable process you can use going forward.
